The first day game of the 20th Africa Nations Championship for Women was played on the 21st September 2007 on both venues scheduled for competitions (Dakar & Thiès) and the results are the followings:

Group A : Stadium Marius Ndiaye - Dakar

1. Senegal vs. Côte d’Ivoire : 62-37

2. Mali vs. Tunisia : 93-49

3. Madagascar vs. Mozambique : 49-83

Group B : (Stade Lat Dior - Thiès)

1. Nigeria vs. Cameroon : 61-35

2. Kenya vs. Angola : 44-62

3. Cape Verde vs. DR Congo : 42-84
