CAPE VERDE : Lusophone games 2014: Rodrigo Mascarenhas integrates the staff

Veteran Rodrigo Mascarenhas, who participated in the 2013 AfroBasket as a player with the national team of Cape Verde, will participate in the 2014 Lusophone Games as an assistant coach.

"As we have decided to convene only players who play in the national championship, To Tavares will be the head coach while Rodrigo Mascarenhas will be his deputy and head of the delegation. After these games, Alex Nwora continues as head coach " said Filomeno Costa, secretary of the federation Cape Verdean Basketball.
They have published the list of 12 players who will represent the country at the 2014 Lusophone Games, which start on 18 January in GOA, India. These are:

Vany, Jason and Hernani (Académica de São Vicente), Cukim (Mindel Vets), Sorna and Sander (Preguiça), Patrick and Michel (Prédio), Kuka and Tchesco (Seven Stars), Bucks et Fidel (ABC).

The home team will have the task at least match the silver medal win in 2009 Lusophone Games in Lisbon, Portugal.
