THE last time Nkumba-Marines met Charging Rhinos in a league encounter was in the second round of last year’s restructured league.

Marines won the tie, earning their first major victory over the former champions in several years and went on to clinch the 2005 MTN basketball league title.

And nothing has changed between these two sides that meet again in the clash-of-the-day at the YMCA courts this evening.

Rhinos have always managed to comeback after a disappointment and will be looking for some payback for last year’s deficit.

Marines on the other hand will have to prove that last year’s result was no fluke after welcoming Donald Blick, Albert Aciko and Karol Bisereko back onto fold.

Other games at the YMCA pit Miracle against Livingstone while Lady Bucks take on Nabisunsa in an earlier women’s game.
